The Nationwide Foundation is a member of the Renters’ Reform Coalition, a group formed of 20 leading organisations supporting private renters, including housing charities, advice centres, renters unions, and think tanks.
On 26 July 2023, the Nationwide Foundation joined other members and supporters of the Coalition in signing an open letter to the government calling for it to speed up its passing of the Renters (Reform) Bill and rethink the areas in which the bill needs to be strengthened to ensure renters are adequately protected.
